Given the demands of my midwifery practice, my doula offerings are limited at this time. I love birth work and make every effort accommodate requests for doula support as my calendar allows!
As a doula, my aim is to provide gentle, nurturing, and judgment-free support to meet each family’s and individual’s specific needs and desires throughout their pregnancy, birth, and postpartum experience. I am honored to support each person and their family regardless of their birth preferences-be it natural or medicated, vaginal or cesarean, a birth at a hospital, a birth at a free standing birth center, or a birth in the comforts of your home.
Birth DoulaI offer a complementary consultation. Once hired, I provide two prenatal visits in the comforts of your home where we meet to build familiarity, identify your goals and preferences, explore relevant resources, and practice hands-on comfort measures. I am happy to support families birthing in hospitals, birth centers, and at midwife supported home births. Birth can at times be a bit unpredictable, even the most diligent efforts to prepare and plan can be subverted. As your doula, I will do my best to support you to ensure that you and your choices are empowered, honored, and respected.
My birth doula fee is $1,800. |
Postparutm DoulaI offer a complementary consultation. Once hired, we will meet 1-2 times prenatally in the comforts of your home where we will identify your postpartum goals and preferences. After your baby arrives, I will provide in-home postpartum support for you and your family at scheduled times. This support includes light house work (dishes, laundry, meal prep, etc.), newborn cares, infant feeding and lactation support, and emotional support.
My Postpartum Doula Fee: $40 hourly daytime rate or $50 hourly overnight rate with discounts available for families seeking > 15 hours. |
